2 nabbed, P40-M shabu seized in Pasay drug sting
A Chinese national and his Filipino driver was arrested on Wednesday night in a buy-bust operation in Pasay City which yielded eight kilos of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu worth about P40 million.
The police withheld the names of the suspects.
According to Southern Police District OIC Senior Supt. Eusebio Mejos, authorities have been conducting surveillance against the suspects for the past two months.

On Wednesday, they set the plan to arrest the suspects in motion. A police asset pretended to buy two kilos of shabu from the Chinese national at a parking lot of a fastfood restaurant.
Upon giving the marked money and obtaining the shabu, the police arrested the Chinese national and his driver.
