WATCH: Visually-impaired boy plays guitar, sings for Roxas, Robredo
TABACO, Albay — A visually-impaired boy sang for Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas and vice presidential candidate Leni Robredo in a sortie in Tabaco, Albay province Saturday.
“JR” played the guitar and performed Noel Cabangon’s famous single “Kanlungan” as Roxas and Robredo listened behind the boy and his companion on the stage set up at a plaza here.
Robredo was seen observing JR strumming on his guitar with ease despite his vision impairment.
After his performance, the boy whispered something to Roxas, who then asked his assistant to talk to JR.
Roxas and the Liberal Party senatorial candidates went to Camarines Sur, Robredo’s vote-rich home province, on Friday to launch the campaign of the “Daang Matuwid” coalition.

After Tabaco, the team went to another town of Albay in Ligao where their motorcade headed to Legazpi City astrodome, the last stop of their Bicol campaign tour.
