‘Good-looking man’ fires at cab carrying 4 in Sta. Ana
MANILA — A man fired shots at a taxi carrying four passengers after its driver refused to pull over in Sta. Ana, Manila, early Wednesday.
The cab driver, Edgardo Magisa of Winjerm Taxi, said the still unidentified attacker opened fire on his vehicle as it passed through Zobel Roxas Street near Pasig Line and Onyx around 3:10 a.m.
The man, described as “good-looking” and in his early 20s, first hurled stones at the cab, hitting the front hood, before drawing a pistol and firing at the windshield.
The cab was hit twice, prompting Magisa to drive faster, said Supt. Robert Domingo, head of Sta. Ana police station.
After Magisa’s passengers got off at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the driver reported the attack to the Manila police but the shooter was no longer at the site when an arrest team arrived in Sta. Ana. SFM
