Poe denies separating from husband
Senator Grace Poe laughed off on Monday rumors that she and her husband separated last November.
“Ha?” was Poe’s initial reaction when asked about the rumor in an interview over DZBB.
“Alam mo, marami akong naririnig na tsimis pero first time kong narinig ang chismis na yan na hiwalay kami ng aking kabiyak,”she said, referring to her husband, Teodoro Misael “Niel” Llamanzares.
(I’ve heard a lot of gossip about me but that’s the first time I heard about the rumor that I have separated from my husband.)
In fact, Poe said she and her husband will celebrate their silver anniversary or 25 years of marriage this year.

“Alam mo kung yung iba sa pulitika ay nagkakaroon ng medyo hindi pagkakasundo, ang asawa ko, kaibigan ko talaga yan,” she added.
(If other politicians do not get along with their spouses, we’re different. My husband is really my friend.)
Poe said that while she seeks advice from her husband, the latter does not interfere with her work in government.
The senator said she wanted to clarify to the public that there are no truth to rumors that they separated last November.
