Fire displaces over 40 families in Zamboanga on Christmas Day
ZAMBOANGA CITY—Two fire incidents displaced over 40 families here on Christmas Day.
Supt. Dominador Zabala Jr., the city fire marshal, said the first fire incident—involving two houses—took place around 1 a.m. in Barangay Cabatangan and wounded one person.
The second incident, he said, transpired in Barangay Santa Catalina around 5:20 a.m.

“It reached third alarm although no casualty had been reported,” he said of the Santa Catalina fire.
