Lantern parade snarls traffic along Ortigas

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Saturday advised motorists to expect heavy traffic in Greenhills, San Juan due to a lantern parade.

In an advisory, the MMDA said heavy traffic was expected to build up along the westbound lane of Ortigas Avenue near La Salle Greenhills due to the ongoing lantern parade at the area, which started at 3 p.m.

As of 3 p.m, the MMDA said the stretch of the Epifanio De Los Santos Avenue (Edsa) is experiencing moderate to heavy traffic.

The MMDA has earlier advised motorists to use the Mabuhay Lanes in Metro manila to avoid busy roads. NC/IDL
