Enzo Pastor slay suspect, Sandy de Guzman, wants to stay at NBI
Businessman Sandy de Guzman, the alleged mastermind in the killing of international car racer Enzo Pastor, has asked the court to let him stay in the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation instead of sending him to the Quezon City Jail because of threats to his life.
De Guzman, through counsel Dennis Manalo, also asked the court to allow him to post bail on the murder charge in a separate motion filed on Dec. 7 in the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 85.
De Guzman is accused of conspiring with his alleged lover, Enzo’s widow Dalia Guerrero-Pastor, based on the confession of alleged hit man PO2 Edgar Angel and the affidavit of the Pastors’ house helper Chona Domen. De Guzman was arrested by the NBI-NCR on Dec. 3 in Cavite province following a manhunt.
