Celebs in star-studded Mar-Leni video received no talent fee—director
A gift for Mar and Leni.
That is how director Cristhian Escolano described the music video he produced which featured celebrities supporting Liberal Party presidential and vice presidential candidates former Interior Secretary Manuel“Mar” Roxas II and Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo for next year’s polls.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Escolano clarified that no talent fee was paid to any of the celebrities who appeared in the music video “Fast Forward.”
“All the artists who came on board for the MTV volunteered when we spoke to them. No one was paid for this except the production team,” he said.
The director said that the fee for the production team was shouldered by individuals who believe in the leadership of Roxas.
