Makati youth to take part in disaster preparedness summit

MANILA, Philippines—Makati youth will participate in a disaster preparedness summit this week, a 990AM report said Tuesday.

The local government of Makati City aimed to educate and prepare their youth for calamities with the Makati Youth for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Summit which is scheduled this Thursday at the University of Makati.

The summit was supported by the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction and coincided with the UN’s International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, said the report.
