Immigration Commissioner Siegfred Mison on Wednesday ordered a thorough investigation into the escape of a Korean national from the bureau’s warden facility in Bicutan, Taguig City.

Mison immediately ordered a hunt for Cho Seong-dae who was discovered missing around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

“The personnel who were tasked to secure custody were likewise directed to submit their explanation on the incident,” said Elaine Tan, Bureau of Immigration (BI) spokesperson.
