Eskrima champ takes advanced test

ESKRIMA world champion Jean Claude Calimoutou is set to become the first French national to complete the three Eskrima courses that is being offered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority as he will be taking the Advanced Course Final Examination at the Academy of Eskrima in Sto. Niño Village in Banilad.

Calimoutou hails from Reunion Island in France and has been hard at work in trying to finish the hectic 200-hour course, which is being finished in just a month. He is not the only foreigner trying to earn his keep in the Filipino martial art as South Korean Jinho Lee will also take the Intermediate Course examination. Correspondent Jonas Panerio
