Pagasa: Rains seen in 4 provinces

ALTHOUGH “Ineng” (Goni) has left the Philippine area of responsibility, frequent rains are seen over Bataan, Zambales, La Union and Pangasinan due to the southwest monsoon, the state weather bureau said Monday afternoon.

The rains may cause flashfloods and landslides in these areas.

In a weather bulletin by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, Metro Manila, Mimaropa and Calabarzon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains with isolated thunderstorms.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and the coastal areas along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the south to southwest with slight to moderate seas.
