Cayetano: No decision yet on who to team up with in 2016 polls

Senator Alan Peter Cayetano on Friday said he hasn’t made any final decision yet on who to team up with in the 2016 national elections.

He also denied that he won’t join Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte if the Liberal Party asks him to be Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II’s runningmate, saying that he is not prioritizing any political party.

“Like I said before, I consider all possibilities and keep my doors open to all options,” Cayetano said Friday in a statement.

“Our good name and integrity is very important to the Cayetanos. Rest assured that we will only consider a team-up or a partnership for the upcoming 2016 elections that will be based on common vision and principle, leading to programs that are doable, needed by the country, and will create real change in the lives of our people,” he added.
