‘Depressed’ maid falls to her death from a 4-story Makati building
A depressed househelp allegedly jumped to her death from the top floor of a 4-story building in Makati City on Wednesday night.
Initial investigation of the Makati City police revealed that 43-year-old Nelly Rosarosa suddenly jumped from the laundry area of the building where she was working, located at No. 7845 Solchuaga St., Barangay Tejeros.
The case investigator, Senior Police Officer II Jayson David, said Rosarosa immediately died due to severe head injuries since she landed head first on the pavement. He added that according to her employer Andy Villon, she fell at around 7:30 p.m. while Villon and some relatives were drinking beer at the ground floor of their residence.
The employer noted that they immediately informed the authorities about the fatal fall. He said he had noticed that Rosarosa had been depressed for about a week but did not think that she would end her life. Maricar B. Brizuela, Phlippine Daily Inquirer
