/ 07:01 AM October 06, 2011

NORFIL Foundation Inc., a social welfare agency based in Lapu-Lapu City, is calling the attention of the parents or relatives of the abandoned minor.

Michelle Caubig, born on Dec. 24, 2010 in Mandaue City, was left by her mother, Rosalinda, to the care of Reception and Study Center for Children on Feb. 25, 2011. Rosalinda previously resided in North Reclamation Area, Mandaue City. Her last known address is Hayco Riles, Mabolo, Cebu City. Michelle’s maternal grandmother, Estrellita resides in barangay Tangke, Talisay City, Cebu. Until now, Rosalinda has not visited her daughter at the center.

The Norfil foundation is requesting the parents or relatives of Michelle to visit or contact social workers Angelina Dungog, Sheryl Gacita or Griffith Riconalla at 340-1170 or 340-5722 from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Failure of the parties to appear or claim the child within three months will subject the child to legal abandonment proceedings through the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
