Aquino apologizes for skipping processional walk
PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino III started his last state of the nation address (Sona) on Monday with an apology for skipping the traditional processional walk as he was not feeling well.
Despite this, the President went on and recognized the presence of Vice President Jejomar Binay, former Presidents Fidel Ramos and Joseph Estrada, now Manila Mayor, Senate President Franklin Drilon, Speaker Sonny Belmonte, Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno and other guests at the gallery of the House of Representatives.
This Monday’s Sona is the President’s last before he steps down in office in 2016.
