141 families evacuated during monsoon rains

/ 05:49 AM July 10, 2015

A total of 141 families, or 615 people, have been evacuated in Metro Manila, Central Luzon and Calabarzon due to the monsoon rains.

The evacuation in San Pedro, Laguna, was prompted by the collapse of a 20-meter-high river wall.

Relief officials have recorded two deaths—a 19-year-old youth who fell into a river in Quezon City on July 7, and a Korean national, who drowned in Cebu.
