CIDG considers Fidel Arcenas’ girlfriend as state witness
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group is considering the possibility of making Angela Dychioco, the girlfriend of suspect Fidel Sheldon Arcenas as state witness in the killing of the 33-year-old bank teller Tania Camille Dee, in Angeles City, Pampanga, last June.
Arcenas is former husband of Dee, who went missing on June 20.
“We are thinking of using Dychioco as a state witness against Arcenas. All the information she provided have been very useful in establishing what really happened that led to the killing of Tania,” CIDG chief Police Director Benjamin Magalong said in an interview on Wednesday.
But Magalong said the CIDG will let the Department of Justice decide if Dychioco could qualify as a state witness in the murder case.
“Mag-file muna ng case against her and it’s up to the Department of Justice to evaluate whether she could be accepted in the Witness Protection Program,” Magalong said.
Dychioco was reportedly placed under protective custody at CIDG.

After a few days, Regina Dychioco turned to the police after she noticed her daughter Angela anxious and looking distraught, informing her that “something happened at the back of the house.”
Knowing that Dee was missing, she suspected the worst and reported to the police. The authorities conducted a search and found borrowed in a shallow grave in the backyard. Dee was shot at the back of her head.
