Thunderstorms affecting QC, San Juan

The state weather bureau issued a thunderstorm alert in Metro Manila and Bataan on Friday morning, and warned the public of heavy rains and possible flash floods.

“Thunderstorm is affecting Metro Manila (Quezon City and San Juan) which may persist within two hours,” the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in an advisory at 10:01a.m.

Over the next two hours, thunderstorms are also expected in other areas of Metro Manila and Bataan.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flash floods. Keep monitoring for updates,” Pagasa said.
