VICE PRESIDENT Jejomar Binay Wednesday hailed Puregold Price Club for helping Filipinos, especially migrant workers, start their own small business through its “Tindahan ni Aling Puring” Program.

In his speech during the opening of the 6th “Tindahan ni Aling Puring” Sari-sari Store Convention at the World Trade Center, Binay emphasized that Filipinos can earn extra income that they can use for their education and other needs from their own small business.

“Malaki ang ginhawang naidudulot ng sari-sari store dahil sa kaunting kapital lang ay magkakaroon na tayo ng dagdag na kita na puwede nating gamitin sa pang-araw-araw na buhay, [Sari-sari stores provide big relief for us because with a little investment, we make extra income that we can use for our daily expenses],” Binay said.
