4.8-magnitude quake jolts Sultan Kudarat
A 4.8-magnitude earthquake jolted Sultan Kudarat on Saturday night, state seismologists said.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was recorded 15 kilometers south of Palimbang town at 5:02 p.m.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of 15 kilometers.

Philvolcs said intensity 4 was recorded in Kalamansig and Lebak, Sultan Kudarat, intensity 3 in Cotabato City and intensity 1 in Kiamba, Sarangan.
It said no damages were recorded and no aftershocks were expected. RC
