NAGA CITY—After nine years, police finally caught up with Victor Lorenzo “Chinglo” Rosales, the most wanted illegal drug dealer in Bicol, when he visited his house here on Wednesday night, the city police chief announced on Thursday.

Rosales was arrested at his house on Mangga and Avocado streets in Barangay Balatas by policemen who were alerted by an informant, Senior Supt. Narciso Domingo said.

The man has a pending arrest warrant for violating the anti-illegal drug law, or Republic Act No. 9165, issued by Judge Eden Huenda Altea of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Naga on June 23, 2006.

Rosales was placed in police custody while local authorities were coordinating his transfer to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Domingo said. Juan Escandor Jr., Inquirer Southern Luzon
