THE PHILIPPINE Children’s Medical Center (PCMC), located on Agham Road in Quezon City, was created through Presidential Decree No. 1631 on Aug. 10, 1979, and inaugurated on April 29, 1980. It became operational on June 23, 1980, and was first called Lungsod ng Kabataan (Children’s City). The 200-bed-capacity hospital was renamed the PCMC in 1986. Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
