Body found at MMDA pump station

The body of a still unidentified man was found in the water at the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Libertad pumping station in Pasay City on Wednesday morning. Senior Supt. Joel Doria, officer in charge of the Pasay police, said the body was found at 8:45 a.m. floating in a water hyacinth-covered area on Manila Bay near the Roxas Boulevard reclamation site in Barangay 17. Doria said the police at press time were checking closed-circuit television cameras in the area if they had captured how the body was dumped there.Maricar B. Brizuela
