While Ateneo de Cebu cruised to the finals, UV had to scrap their way in and did so in beating the University of Cebu (UC), 60-56. The win marked the first time that UV has made the finals since their Passerelle program’s inception. Expected to lead the way for UV are Paul Desiderio and Ralph Dinolan.

USC-South and UC will tangle for third place in the first game at 5:30 p.m., which will be immediately followed by the title game set at 7 p.m. Correspondent Jonas Panerio
