Look: Bong Revilla visits Jolo at hospital

MANILA, Philippines — Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and his son Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla had an emotional encounter at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa City on Tuesday.

In a photo that was made available to INQUIRER.net by the familys spokesperson, Atty. Raymond Fortun, Jolo was seen crying as the senator was hugging him.

In another picture, the senator was seen standing by his son’s bed, his wife Lani Mercado-Revilla behind him.

The senator was granted a five-hour furlough to visit his son who, according to Fortun, accidentally shot himself while cleaning a .40 Glock handgun last Saturday.
