Metro Manila accounted for 43 percent or 211 of the reported 492 new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases registered nationwide in November 2014, based on the latest Department of Health figures. The new cases brought the total number of reported HIV cases nationwide to 22,018 since 1984. Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
