Touching photos on Nat’l Day of Mourning for SAF 44
MANILA, Philippines — Justice for the SAF 44. That was the resounding call on Friday of the relatives and supporters of the 44 Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) members killed in an encounter in Mamasapano town, Maguindanao.
With President Benigno Aquino III declaring January 30 as National Day of Mourning, policemen went to the streets to “march for justice,” the public offered prayers and flowers, and Philippine flags all over the country were flown at half-mast. KS
