SPO2 Antonio of the MPD said it appeared that the attacker used a revolver in shooting the victim after investigators failed to recover any empty shell at the crime scene.

Revolvers usually retain spent bullet shells in their chamber. In contrast, magazine-fed pistols eject the bullet casings after they are fired.

‎The victim’s brother Eduardo said in a dzMM report that Gose had a spat with a person during a Christmas party he attended. Eduardo did not name the person, however.

Gose suffered gunshot wounds in the head and body. Police said Gose’s remains will undergo autopsy to determine the gun used to shoot him.

Antonio said probers would try to retrieve footage of closed circuit television cameras of nearby establishments in a effort to identify the gunman.
