2 hurt as billboard falls on car

MANILA, Philippines – Two persons were hurt when a billboard fell on their vehicle in Buendia Tuesday morning, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

The billboard hit a Toyota Corolla at around 10:35 a.m. at the corner of Buendia and Osmena Highway, with its passengers sustaining “minor injuries that were treated by the Makati Rescue team”, said Charlie Nosares of the MMDA Metrobase.

The billboard also fell on a Pajero and a passenger bus although no one was reported hurt in these vehicles.
