Work suspended in gov’t offices–Palace

MANILA, Philippines — Work in all goverrnment offices has been suspended due Typhoon “Pedring”, Malacanang has announced.

Secretary Edwin Lacierda, presidential spokesman and his deputy spokesperson Abigail Valte issued announcements.

Lacierda said the suspension of government work covered those in the National Capital Region, Regions 1 (Ilocos), 2 (Cagayan), 3 (Central Luzon), CAR (Cordillera Administrative Region), and 4A (Batangas Cavite, Rizal and Laguna).

Valte said on radio that the suspension of work were did not apply to those agencies involved in monitoring and relief operations.
