PAL flight from Japan makes emergency landing

MANILA, Philippines—A Philippine Airlines (PAL) plane from Japan made an emergency landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Friday afternoon, a radio report said.

The report said PAL’s airbus PR347 from Nagoya made an emergency landing at 1:32 p.m. after one of its engines shut down.

All the 160 passengers and crew were safe.
