3 hurt in bus collision along Edsa

MANILA, Philippines–At least three were hurt when two passenger buses collided along the southbound lane, Santolan section of Epifanio d‎elos Santos Avenue (Edsa) in Quezon City on Tuesday morning.

An airconditioned Yohan bus and a Lipad Transit bus, both filled with passengers, were involved in the accident.

Emma Loristo, of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) metrobase, said in a phone interview‎ that three passengers suffered slight injuries. They have not been identified.

Loristo said the accident has been cleared at 10:37 a.m.

As of 10:50 a.m., traffic is light on both lanes of Edsa Santolan near Camp Crame going to Annapolis Street in San Juan City.
