LPA spotted off Mindanao
MANILA, Philippines—A low pressure area was spotted 1,220 kilometers east of Mindanao, the state weather said Tuesday morning.
In its weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the southern part of the country will experience rain because of the new weather disturbance.
Pagasa said Mindanao, Calabarzon and the province of Aurora will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and the Ilocos region will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
