MANILA, Philippines – Cloudy skies and rains will be experienced in the Visayas and Mindanao as an intertropical convergence zone lingers over these regions, the weather bureau said.

In its forecast Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Western Visayas and the whole Mindanao would have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Pagasa added that Metro Manila and the rest of the country would be partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
