The Sandiganbayan Third Division had earlier directed the PNP to bring the sickly senator to the PGH to further determine if a hospital arrest was necessary for Enrile.

In a resolution, the anti-graft court also directed the directors of PNP-GH and Crimina‎l Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) to bring Enrile to the PGH on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m.

Dennis Pulma, division clerk of court, clarified in an earlier interview that Enrile will only undergo outpatient procedure and it would be up to the PGH authorities whether he needs to be confined in the government hospital.

Enrile has been detained at the PNP-GH on plunder and graft charges in connection with the “pork barrel” scam.
