Ceiling of QC mall collapses
MANILA, Philippines—A portion of a ceiling of a mall in Quezon City collapsed Thursday morning, a television report said.
The report said that the portion of Robinsons Novaliches which collapsed was undergoing renovation. The incident happened around 9:30 A.M.
It added that no casualty was reported as it happened before the mall opened.
Meanwhile, Superintendent Norberto Babagay of Novaliches police station told INQUIRER.net that the police are still confirming the incident.
INQUIRER.net tried to contact Robinson’s management but it has yet to issue a statement on the incident.
A mall employee, who refused to be identified due to lack of authority, said the mall operation has been temporarily halted for safety measures and inspection.
