P40M to repair Leyte police HQ
MANILA, Philippines–The police regional office in Eastern Visayas has set aside P40 million for the repair of damaged infrastructures at its headquarters in Leyte.
In notices to bid dated Aug. 2, Senior Supt. Eusebio Mejos, the regional chief of staff, notified contractors with valid contractors’ registration certificates to bid for contracts to repair structures at Camp Ruperto Kangleon in Palo, Leyte, to be implemented through negotiated procurement.
The bids and awards committee sent out six notices to bid covering six contracts for buildings and structures at the police camp, destroyed by Typhoon Yolanda last year.
The police regional office in Eastern Visayas has allotted a total of P40.161 million for the repair jobs.–Julie M. Aurelio
