Three rob suspects nabbed
THREE of five persons were arrested for allegedly robbing a couple who walked past the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC) in the North Reclamation Area, barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City last Friday.
Police arrested 22-year-old Erpejel Tagabon of barangay Mantuyong, 20-year-old Alsie Abato and a teenage girl, both residents of barangay Centro, Mandaue City in relation to the crime.
Two other suspects identified as Leonard Ritapable and Julius Potot remain at large.
The three suspects are now detained at the Centro police precinct pending the filing of robbery charges against them today.
Initial investigation revealed that the couple Ritchie Mait and Noland Ty, residents of barangay Tipolo, were walking in the vicinity of CICC past 6 p.m. when they were approached by the robbery suspects.
One of them grabbed Ty’s neck and poked a sharp bladed weapon at her.

The victim immediately reported the incident to the Centro police precinct.
Police are still on the lookout for Ritapable and Potot.
