PH infrastructure budget has doubled since 2011

MANILA, Philippines–President Benigno Aquino III in his fifth State of the Nation Address (Sona) said the government has been able to double its infrastructure budget since 2011.

Aquino said the governmnt was able to increase its budget for infrastructure to P404.3 billion in 2014 from P200.3 billion in 2011.

He also said that as of July, the government has been able to build, fix and extend 122.184 kilometers of roads.
