Woman dead; companion, 3 children missing

METAIRIE, Louisiana – Authorities say a suburban New Orleans woman has been found bludgeoned to death in her bathtub and the man she lived with and his three children are missing.

Sheriff’s spokesman John Fortunato says deputies have a warrant seeking the arrest of 43-year-old Pedro Alberto Monterroso-Navas on a second-degree murder charge. He says Monterroso-Navas is from Honduras and may also use the name Wilson Rigoberto Mina.

The 25-year-old woman’s name is being withheld until her family is notified.

State police issued a missing children alert for a 12-year-old girl and boys aged 2 and 4.
