Blowout wins in e-league
BLOWOUT wins marked last Sunday’s action of the 2011 Powerade E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.
The Eperformax Reds routed the Wipro Wildcats, 79-58, Opinionology trampled the Xlibris Publishers, 74-51, while the Aegis People Support (APS) Vipers handily defeated the Kyocera Frontiers, 88-30.
The Reds had five players scoring in double figures with Raymond Dennis Tan scoring 20 points. Joel Nebria contributed 19 markers, while Nhor Anthony Sayre, Mark Jeffrey Baello and Floyd Singco had 10 each as the Reds secured their eighth win in 13 games.
Opinionology, which improved to 6-6 (win-loss), banked on John Denver Rivera, who tallied 14 points, while Rhett Romeo Tomakin and Michael Gabutin added 13 and 12, respectively.
