Looters fall after smashing car of Giselle Sanchez

MANILA, Philippines—Two men ended up behind bars after they tried to steal about P300,000 worth of beauty products from the car of actress Giselle Sanchez in Caloocan City on Wednesday.

The Caloocan police identified the two as 21-year-old Roel Morales of Southern Luzon region and 28-year-old Manuel Madriaga of Caloocan City.

The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday after Sanchez’s driver left the car parked on Macaneneng Street in Barangay 152, Bagong Barrio.

Minutes later, the vehicle was approached by the suspects who smashed its windows and ransacked it for valuables.

A barangay (village) watchman, however, spotted the pair. He called up the police who arrested the two men.

Recovered from the duo were assorted cosmetics products and hair styling equipment valued at around P300,000.
