PDIC run for ‘Yolanda’ victims today

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. (PDIC) is spearheading the “Takbo sa Pagbangon ng Leyte” on May 4 at the PNB Financial Center in Pasay City.

Around 3,000 participants are expected to join the benefit run being held in partnership with Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation Inc.

The run aims to heighten public awareness of PDIC and raise funds to build homes for the victims of Supertyphoon “Yolanda.”

Participants are advised to be at the venue on or before the 5 a.m assembly time.

Free parking slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the PNB Financial Center, Macapagal Boulevard, and at the Citem Parking Area until 4 a.m. only.

Hosted by DJ Chloe of Mellow 94.7 and Chris Everingham of the Philippine Volcanoes, the run has three race distances to cater to all types of running enthusiasts.

Special guests are Barangay Ginebra San Miguel players Japeth Aguilar and Dylan Ababou and Guitar brand ambassador Carlos Agassi.
