4.1 quake jolts Zambales
MANILA, Philippines—Zambales may be more than a hundred kilometers away from Quezon City, yet tremors were still felt in the metropolitan area.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, a magnitude 4.1 quake hit Zambales 6:03 p.m. Saturday and with Quezon City experiencing Intensity II jolts.
In its bulletin, the epicenter of the quake was 19 kilometers southwest of San Antonio, Zambales and was of tectonic in nature.
There were no reports of expected damage and expected aftershocks.
