Body of slain man found at Balara filter compound in QC
MANILA, Philippines — The body of a man believed to have been summarily executed was dumped before dawn Thursday inside the Balara Filter compound in Quezon City.
A sheet of bond paper with the words “Wag pong tularan, droga po ang hanapbuhay ko (Don’t imitate me, I made a living out of drugs)” was left on top of the victim’s body.
Police Officer 2 Anthony Tejerero said the body was discovered at around 12:39 a.m. Thursday at a parking lot near the windmill of the Balara filter compound in Barangay (village) Pansol.
The man was said to be 30 to 35 years old, fair-skinned, of medium build, and wearing a white shirt and brown pants.
The victim also bore the tattoos “C. Sabel” and “Omar” on his chest. He also sustained a lone puncture wound on the left chest.
A security guard of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System was conducting a patrol when he saw the body of the inert man.

The watchman then reported his discovery to authorities.
