American found dead in hotel room
An American was found dead on Wednesday inside a pension house in Cebu City’s downtown area. Police said there were no signs of foul play.
Kevin John Griffin, in his 50s, was naked when room boys and a security guard of JL Suites found him inside Room No. 307, said Senior Police Officer 4 Alex Dacua.
Dacua, homicide investigator, said P5,000 in cash, two cellular phones and marijuana residue were found in the room.
He said police were ruling foul play out because the room was locked from the inside. The American had been known to be sickly. Chito O. Aragon, Inquirer Visayas
