Cunanan affidavit shows 27 legislators linked to ‘pork’ scam
MANILA, Philippines — Dennis Cunanan, director general on-leave of the Tehcnology Resource Center, bared in his affidavit submitted to the Senate blue ribbon committee, the list of 27 legislators, including three senators, who have allegedly funneled their “pork barrel” funds to alleged bogus organizations linked to detained businesswoman Janet Lim-Napoles.
“Based on the records of the TRC, the following are the legislators who implemented projects funded by their PDAFs using NGOs linked to Mrs. Janet Lim-Napoles and/or her corporate vehicle, JLN Corporation, through the TRC,” Cunanan said in the affidavit.
PDAF is the Priority Development Assistance Fund also known as “pork barrel” funds.
The three senators included in the list were Juan Ponce-Enrile, Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada, and Ramon “Bong Revilla Jr.

Biazon, also former head of the Bureau of Customs, and Villanueva, who is now head of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, are both allied with the Aquino administration.
Villanueva has repeatedly denied any involvement in the scam and was not among those charged at the Office of the Ombudsman.
The three senators have also strongly denied the allegations hurled at them.
