The NCRPO currently has around 18,000 personnel assigned in four police districts: Northern (covering the cities of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela); Southern (Makati, Pasay, Taguig, Pateros, Las Piñas, Parañaque and Muntinlupa); Eastern (Marikina, Pasig, Mandaluyong and San Juan); Manila; and Quezon City.
According to NCRPO spokesman Chief Insp. Roberto Domingo, the current ratio in the capital is 1 to 600.
Domingo said NCRPO chief Director Carmelo Valmoria was looking for applicants with “high scholastic records to improve the quality of the police force.”
Being computer-literate and a licensed driver are also “plus points,” he added.
