Four killed in Sorsogon massacre

MANILA, Philippines — Four were killed in a multiple murder incident at Barangay (village) Pandan, in Castilla, Sorsogon on Monday, a Philippine National Police spokesman said.

Superintendent Wilson Asueta said that Barangay Captain Randy Bueno reported to Castilla Municipal Police Station at about 9 a.m. on the incident that happened at Sitio Tipun-Tipun.

Asueta identified the victims as Corazon Maravilla, 60, Geraldine Ortiz, 32, Annika Ortiz, 5, and Joseph Ortiz, 3.

The suspect was still unidentified and Castilla police investigators were still conducting further investigation, he said.
